Niantic announces a new week of Pokémon Go adventures in 2022
Adventure week is back in 2022, kicks off Brand new Season of Go with a week of Stone and Fossil Pokemon. The event will begin on Tuesday, June 7 at 10 a.m. local time for the coaches and continue until 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 12.
The event brings two Neolithic Pokemon to Pokemon Go for the first time – Tyrunt and Amaura, two fossil Pokemon introduced to Pokemon X and Y. Trainers can hatch new Pokemon from 7km Eggs obtained during the event or encounter them by doing Field Research missions.
As with the launch Pokemon, lucky trainers will have a chance to catch Shiny Tirtouga and Shiny Archen for the first time in Pokemon Go. Several other Fossil and Stone-type Pokemon will be noticed during the event, during wild encounters, Raid, and Field Research, with the following Pokemon appearing more frequently:

For the duration of the event, trainers will receive double XP when spinning a PokeStop, as well as 5x XP when spinning a PokeStop for the first time.
Niantic has also teased a potential Ultra Unlock for the event, which will be activated if trainers complete at least 20 Global Challenges this weekend. Global Pokemon Go Festival.
