Nipsey Hussle’s family says Tanisha’s adopter abused Alchohol

The grueling struggle between the late rapper Nipsey Hussle’s his family and the mother of his child, Tanisha Foster continues as his family tries to prevent Foster from having full custody of the 13-year-old boy Emani, Radar report.

Nipsey’s family asked a court this week to dismiss Tanisha Foster’s asked her to file initially in 2019 for custody of their daughter. They indicated that the mother admitted to substance and alcohol abuse problems on the same day she made the claim, 2019.

Nipsey & Social Worker’s Sister Says Foster Admits Substance Abuse

Allegedly, Foster’s substance use was confirmed by Nipsey’s sister Samantha and a Children’s Social Worker named Rosa. The sales agency said her admission was included in the Field Probate Investigator Report to the court.

Nipsey’s sister previously told the court that in May 2019, Tanisha allegedly went to Emani’s school to be affected.

In the report it was recommended that Tanisha should not be appointed due to alcohol-related problems. At the time, unemployment and lack of stable housing were also contributing factors – as were the many times he was evicted from his home.

While Tanisha may now have a stable home, they say she is still “unfit” to be the guardian of Emani’s assets. The investigator also noted that Tanisha had struggled with times of homelessness and declined to identify her boyfriend at the time, or any other people she lived with.

Sam: Tanisha crashed some of the cars that Nipsey bought for her

The brother of the late rapper, Sam Ashghedom aka Blacc Sam, told the court about an incident where Tanisha allegedly assaulted someone while Emani was present. He said that after an investigation by the Department of Family and Children’s Services, she had lost her child. Sam added that Tanisha often lived in homes with strangers and “engaged in harmful behaviors including drug and alcohol use”.

Nipsey’s loving brother also points to 4 or 5 cars Nipsey bought Tanisha in but she was hit or damaged, “probably including her driving being affected.”

“Clearly, the conduct summarized here jeopardizes Emani’s well-being, but such conduct also makes Miss Foster completely unfit to act as guardian of the estate and possibly manage the assets. Emani’s inheritance is expected to exceed two million dollars ($2,000,000),” the filing notes.

The family said Tanisha’s history of substance abuse and past involvement in DCFS should be sufficient reason to deny her application. The parties are expected to face off in court early next year.

Tanisha’s plea to Emani

Not all hope is lost for Tanisha, who wrote in her 2019 statement to her daughter that she is still there to send Emani to school.

“I have continued to be an active part of Emani’s life. She often spent the night with me, I took her to school, and I continued to do what a parent would do with their child. I’m very unhappy that the guards won’t take my calls. They blocked me on their cell phones. I have to go through a third party or Emani to communicate with the guardians”.

She added,

“There is no circumstance or event in my life that would disqualify me from reclaiming my exclusive role as Emani’s parent. No need for guardianship anymore. Emani often asks me when she and I can live together. She longs to be with me like her mother. I am begging the court to end the existing guardianship.”

Nipsey left behind Emani, and a son named Kross he had with girlfriend Lauren London. The two children are the sole beneficiaries of the estate and are expected to receive at least $2 million. Both families are expected to face off in court early next year.
