Nissan Ariya 2023 starts at $ 44,485, increased prices for previously announced versions

The Nissan Ariya 2023 electric crossover starts at $44,485 with destination, but those who pre-order early will receive lower prices for certain versions, Nissan confirmed Tuesday in a press release.

The base price applies to the entry-level Ariya Engage version with front-wheel drive. Engage is the only Ariya model with a 65 kwh (usable 63 kWh) battery pack as standard equipment. That package gives Nissan an estimated 216-mile range; The 91-kwh package (87-kwh usable) is standard on all other trim levels, and the option on the Engage allows for 289 miles or 304 miles, depending on the model.

Above the Engage, the Ariya lineup includes the front-wheel drive levels Venture+ ($48,485), Evolve+ ($51,485), Empower+ ($54,985) and Premiere ($55,985).

Nissan will also offer the E-4orce, a special all-wheel drive system about more than additional traction. Four trim levels of the Ariya E-4orce will be offered: Interactive with the 63 kwh package ($48,485), Join + with the 87 kWh pack ($52,485), Evolve+ ($55,485), and Platinum + ($61,485). ).

Early bookers who dropped a refundable $500 deposit will receive lower prices on some of these models. Nissan has offered this special price for the front-wheel drive Venture+, Evolve and Premiere, as well as the Platinum E-4orce, with a discount of $1,240 for the Venture+ and $2,535 for the other three models.

Nissan in May 2021 claims to have 200,000 hand breeders worldwide for Ariya. It opened reservations for the US in November 2021, but doesn’t track how many of those early fishers have converted to actual reservations. Nissan also offers a free two-year EVgo membership with $500 in chargeable credits for the first 10,000 bookings by January 31, 2022.

The Ariya is scheduled to start shipping in the United States this fall, but so far it’s not scheduled to be assembled here — so it will miss out on the federal EV tax credit. However, customers may still be eligible for state and local incentives.

In a preview drive of the Ariya earlier this year, we found it to be one of the most spacious and refined models in its crossover-EV class. It will also co-exist with its predecessor, the Nissan Leaf, will continue in the lineup at a lower price.
