For this year Tokyo Auto Shop, Nissan is offering a wide variety of media on display, but perhaps most impressive are the camping truck. They are based on NV350 Caravan, and they’re hiding some really amazing looking living quarters.
The most impressive thing around is the Mountain Base concept, shown at the top. It’s hard to miss thanks to the faux wood trim along its edges. Closer inspection reveals that the resin-free parts are covered with some sort of coating vans bedding material. The front has an integrated grille and protects the headlights. The roof is adorned with an off-road light bar and a giant solar panel that can be raised, tilted and rotated for optimal placement. The side windows have also been replaced to accommodate more solar panels. Flares surround all-terrain wheels and wheel combo tyres.
The interior is the big draw, though. A large bench and desk with screen cover most of the space, with all surfaces covered in wood. And all of those surfaces are supported by a complex, skeleton-like structure. Lighting installed in and around these areas provides a modern and stylish environment. Adding a bit of warm atmosphere is a TV screen that is used as a virtual fireplace.
Although not prominent on the outside, Caravans The concept of Myroom is still very impressive. The exterior hasn’t changed much except for the custom brown and white color scheme color scheme and black painted steel wheels.
However, the interior is perfect for high-class camping. It is full of modern furniture such as light wooden cabinets and shelves. The windows have stylish slats and the rollaway bed is covered in lovely brown and gray textiles. Additional storage is located under the bed and a bench is equipped for lounging.
