One of the many titles coming to Nintendo Switch next month is the ambitious space epic No Man’s Sky.

The game’s release is in line with the 4.0 update, and if you’re wondering what else might be included, it looks like the Switch version is the “focus” of this next game update. Hello Games founder Sean Murray made this clear in a series of tweets:

“No Man’s Sky Switch will release on October 7th – that’s really soon. Switch is our next big release and marks the moment when No Man’s Sky moves to version 4.0. Switch is a business true love for us and the entire team is focused on delivering that little engineering miracle

“2022 has been one of our busiest years to date with Outlaws, Steam Deck, Sentinels, Switch, Mac OS, Leviathan, Expeditions + more. At the heart of 4.0 is the Switch release. our game, an opportunity to introduce a new group of players into our friendly community. There will be more to follow”

When the game launches on Switch, Nintendo players will be able to experience New durability update – adds a whole new level of customization to the game – from cargo ship overhaul to interactive crew members.

About the only thing Switch players will miss out on is multiplayer, with the official game website mentioning how No Man’s Sky Switch Edition will be a single player experience when released.
