Nokia X, G-Series Smartphones with Snapdragon 480+ 5G SoC Launching in 2022: Report
Nokia is said to be gearing up to launch new smartphones in its X and G series in the second half of this year. The company is also expected to launch Nokia XR21 5G, Nokia X21 5G and Nokia X11 5G smartphones around the same time. It is expected that these new smartphones will be equipped with Snapdragon 480+ 5G Soc. The names of the upcoming X and G-series smartphones are still unknown, but it is rumored that they may feature 120Hz refresh rate displays. Nokia has not said anything regarding the launch rumors.
According to a report from Nokiapoweruser, Nokia is preparing to launch several smartphones in its X and G series. These smartphones are expected to launch in the second half of 2022. The report also adds that based on previously heard rumors, Nokia XR21 5G, Nokia X21 5G and Nokia X11 5G are expected. will be released at the same time.
The report further adds that the new X-series smartphones, along with some new high-end G-series smartphones, expected to launch soon, will likely feature screens with 120Hz refresh rates. It is also said that many of these handsets can be powered by Snapdragon 480+ 5G SoC. The report also says that the names of the three X-series smartphones may be different.
Nokia is yet to confirm the new X and G-series smartphone launch rumors.
To recall, on April 26, Nokia launched a new smartphone in its G-series range in India. The Nokia G21 Prices start at Rs. 12,999 for the 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant and Rs. 14,999 for the 6GB RAM + 128GB internal storage variant. The smartphone comes in two colors, Dusk and Nordic Blue, on the company’s website. Smartphone comes with Android 11 and 6.5-inch touchscreen with HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. It comes with a triple rear camera setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, the phone also has an 8-megapixel selfie camera.
