We now have video evidence as to why no NFL team is willing to sign Odell Beckham Jr. at the end of the season. Dallas, New York, Los Angeles, etc. are all transmitted through the receiver widely. Which team would sign him after such reprehensible behavior? Being taken off a plane crosses human boundaries, and OBJ only gets his dessert.
For context, if you haven’t read my rave reviews about OBJ during flirting, it’s irony. We know why Beckham isn’t on the list, but first here’s a shot of him being escorted off an American Airlines flight.
As far as ugly incidents caught on body cameras, it’s not exactly hot content. The scariest part was when Beckham appeared talk infuriated passengers – got off the plane because OBJ refused to fasten his seat belt.
While it’s permissible behavior and not something teams want in the locker room, if he’s fit and ready to go, Jerry Jones or another owner will happily bring in OBJ regardless of him. I am a wretch. Organizations are willing to ignore all kinds of behavior – criminal and not a crime – if the reward is greater than the risk.

Considering Beckham refused to work out in meetings with potential employers, and the red flags raised by Dallas after his physical, suitors needed only the smallest of reasons to pass. It’s not like he’s ever endeared himself to teammates before, but we knew that.
I stopped writing about Beckham in-season because it was clear we wouldn’t see him on the field in 2022, and honestly the only impetus for writing this is basically an “I told you so” to all the outlets that exhaustively covered the dumbass Beckham sweepstakes.
So, um, yeah, I told you so.
