OKC’s Chet Holmgren appears on NBA Summer League debut
Chet Holmgren#2 overall pick in 2022 NBA Draft, launched the Summer League with Oklahoma City Thunder Tuesday in Salt Lake City, and the boy was in for a performance.

Holmgren wasted no time getting the game’s first post on the books.
The 20-year-old rookie scored 13 points with 80% shooting and 3 saves in the first quarter. He went 3-to-4 from the 3-point line and 2 to 2 from the free-throw line.
Holmgren, the 7-foot-1 tester, continued to impress as the first half progressed, performing quite well against the 7-foot-6 Tacko Fall.
Holmgren eventually led all scorers with 23 points in a 7-to-9 shoot. He also had seven rebounds and four assists. His six blocks are the most of any player on either team, with the next closest player (Josh Giddey) only two.
