After weeks of rumors and teasers, Oppo revealed Reno 8 Lite, a successor to Reno 7 Lite. The smartphone debuted in Spain for the first time. The Reno 8 Lite is the fourth member of the Reno 8 series and it joins the Reno 8, Reno 8 Pro and the Reno 8 Pro+ phone. The smartphone is said to be a rebranded version of the Reno 7Z and share design and specs with Reno 7 Lite. The Reno 8 Lite also shares its specs with the recently released F21 Pro.
Oppo Reno 8 Lite: Price, availability
The Reno 8 Lite is priced at 429 EUR (Rs 35,690). The smartphone comes in a single storage configuration of 8GB + 128GB. It is available for purchase through its official regional store in Spain and comes in two colors – Black and Rainbow. We don’t know about the company’s plans to launch the Reno 8 Lite outside of Spain, including India.
Oppo Reno 8 Lite: Specifications
Oppo Reno 8 Lite has a 6.43-inch FHD+ display with 60Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, a smartphone is equipped Snapdragon Chipset 695 combined with 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory. Smartphones running ColorOS 12 on Android 12. Oppo’s custom ColorOS operating system offers the option to expand the RAM up to 5GB. The Reno 8 Lite boasts a 4,500mAh battery with 33W fast charging support.
As for optics, the Reno 8 Lite has a triple camera setup at the back. The rear camera setup includes a 64MP main camera and a pair of 2MP macro and depth units. The smartphone has a 16MP camera on the front, housed in the punch-hole.
Connectivity options on the Reno 8 Lite include 5G, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm jack. The smartphone has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor embedded in the power button.
Oppo Reno 8 Lite Launched in India
The company has so far not revealed anything about the launch of the phone in India. Oppo has yet to launch any Reno 8 series phones in India.
