oppo: Oppo Reno 8 with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset appears on Geekbench


Oppo is preparing to introduce the next generation Reno series, Reno 8, coming in China. Yesterday, we have learned about the Reno 8 Lite, which is expected to launch in Europe and is said to be the improved Reno 7 Lite. Now, another alleged member of the Reno 8, Reno 8 vanilla series, has been spotted on Geekbenchrevealed some key specifications of the upcoming Oppo smartphone.
The smartphone listed on Geekbench carries the model number PGAM10, which is said to be the vanilla version of the upcoming Reno 8. Snapdragon 7th Generation Chipset. The chipset offers 4 cores clocked at 1.80 GHz and another cluster of 4 cores running at 2.36 GHz.
According to Geekbench listing, the smartphone has 8GB RAM and run Android 12, possibly with Oppo’s ColorOS 12.1 skin. The smartphone achieved a single-core score of 712 and a multi-core score of 2385 in Geekbench 5.
Not much is known about the Oppo Reno 8 but some previous reports have revealed the specifications of the smartphone. The Reno 8 is expected to feature a 6.55-inch FHD+ OLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and a hole-punch cutout in the middle. It can boast a 4500mAh battery that supports 80W fast charging. Furthermore, the Reno 8 could come with a triple camera sensor led by a 50MP main sensor and a 32MP front-facing camera.
