However, some opposition leaders have criticized the publication of the coat of arms, mainly on the basis of three counts.
Unconstitutional, CPM says
The opposition protested the prime minister’s reveal of the cast. CPM Leader Sitaram Yechury The Prime Minister said that revealing the national emblem on top of the new National Assembly building is a clear violation of the Constitution.
In a series of tweets, Yechury said, “The Constitution clearly separates the 3 wings of our democracy – the Executive (government), the Legislature (Parliament and council of state) and the Judiciary. ”
He said the President convened Congress. The Prime Minister is at the helm. The legislature has an independent role to make, legislate, and hold the executive branch accountable and accountable. “This constitutional division of power between the three wings is being overturned by the head of the executive branch,” he said.

The head of AIMIM and MP Lok Sabha from Hyderabad Asaduddin Owaisi also objected to Prime Minister Modi announcing the national emblem.
In a tweet, Owaisi said, “The Constitution separates the powers of Parliament, government and judiciary. As the head of the Government, the Prime Minister should not have publicly displayed the national emblem on top of the new Parliament building. Lok Sabha (LS) spokesperson represents LS which is not affiliated with the government. The prime minister has violated all constitutional rules”.

No opposition parties were invited
Some leaders objected that the opposition was not invited to the event.
TMC Rajya Sabha MP Santanu Sen said, “How many opposition leaders were found when @narendramodi unveiled the coat of arms today? The weight of the logo is 9500 kg, which is even less than the weight of government arrogance @ BJP4India. Isn’t this new Congress also for the opposition? Absolutely kill federalism.”

Another TMC MP Rajya Sabha and former Prasar Bharati CEO Jawhar Sircar said, “The four lions of the regime watched as the Prime Minister lifted the four lions of the national coat of arms to the top of the parliament building. new. But the MPs, who would occupy the building, were never consulted. Modi will now beat us to a mediocre architecture designed by his successor architect – at exorbitant costs. ”

Former MP Sandeep Dikshit said he had hoped that whenever the Prime Minister did any Parliament related work, he would invite them all because Parliament does not belong to one party, one government or a Prime Minister. “The Houses of Parliament belong to the whole nation. It would be nice if all political parties participated in a ceremony involving Parliament,” he said.
BJP’s Rebuttal
The BJP, however, countered the absence of opposition leaders.
MP Rajya Sabha and spokesman for the Sudhanshu Trivedi party said only those holding statutory posts would be invited to the event. There are some people who don’t feel satisfied until they have a chance to mess with any work, he added.
While speaking to media people, Trivedi said, “The BJP government under Prime Minister Modi is paving the way for growth. But there are some people in this country who feel inconvenienced until they have a chance to disturb their work. Congress is a party of the same worrisome attitude.”
The Congress Party, which is the leader for “corruption, dynastic politics and appeasement” and also the leader of the “so-called secular party”, tries to make baseless accusations in this way or otherwise, he added.
Another BJP spokesman, Nalin Kohli said India is very proud that all this happened in the 75th year of India’s independence. “The opposition party has been constantly criticizing or trying to find fault with a project like Central Vista and the new Parliament building. They even criticized the museum that Prime Minister Modi dedicated to all prime ministers from Pt Jawaharlal Nehru till now but it is completely bipartisan. So at the end of the day if today they say why they weren’t invited, can they officially say that they support the project and want to see India on the right track? ” he say.
