It is August 29, 2021 and I hereby declare: I AM READY TO FALL 🥵🎃🍁🍂🌞🌻.
Summer keeps getting hotter, and this summer I’m pregnant again..er? when summer is over. I like longer days and iced coffee drinks but I’m also willing to lie down in leggings, cozy socks and a hot cup of coffee…which I probably won’t finish because of the toddler + infant coming soon born.
We decided to take a family morning trip to Oregon Heritage Farm to pretend it was fall, drink some cider, and cross something off our 101 to-do list. My 1001 days: try apple donuts.
Madeleine was able to grab a couple of apples for snacks at home (she’s been enjoying the big apple a lot lately) and picked up a small cup of pumpkin to order her cider. Her novelty is a fondness for spooky things and pumpkins are, to her, very spooky. She looks forward to going to a spooky pumpkin patch when the pumpkins are ready for her, haha.
After ordering cider and donuts, we found a little shady spot to enjoy our breakfast. and human. The apple donuts are delicious. The cider was perfect and Madeleine loved seeing some dogs walking around.
I’ve been waiting for the perfect opportunity to wear this beautiful Pink Blush Maternity dress they sent me, and here it is. Honestly, I could live in this dress. I like the cheerful floral pattern and the flower-like length. It would be a perfect maternity photo shoot dress for late summer/early fall. The fit is generous (I could have downsized) but I really like it. I will wear it on the days I regroup after the baby is born.
