Boxer and entertainer Oscar De La Hoya has been discharged from hospital after battling COVID-19.

The boxer’s cheerleader spent the weekend in a medical center and was forced to cancel his September 11 match with Vitor Belfort after falling ill recently, but he gave fans a health update on Friday. Wednesday, make sure he’s okay and go home.
“Hey guys, I’m out of the hospital. I was there for 3 days. COVID has affected me a lot,” he said on social media. “I’m in the best shape of my life and I really can’t wait to get back in the ring.”

Oscar worried fans when he posted a video of himself from his hospital bed on Friday.
“Thank you so much for all your well wishes and all your support,” the 48-year-old added. “I’m very impressed.”
