After Paddy Pimblett and Ilia Topuria almost got into a fight In the boxer hotel leading up to UFC London, it’s no surprise that Pimblett is hoping Topuria’s rival Jai Herbert will win the O2 arena on Saturday night.
Unfortunately for Herbert, that’s not what happened. Topuria survived some initial difficulty to eliminate her opponent in the second round, earning one of nine performance of the night bonus.
When asked about Topuria’s win at the post-fight press conference at UFC London, Pimblett admitted the knockout was impressive, but declined to give it a go. ‘Grandfather. Hand sanitizer’ too much credit.
“I did [see it]. I give him his due, it’s a good knockout, rightfully so. It was a very good knockout, especially after doing that headbutt. If I hit him with that headbutt, I’ll finish him off. But like I say, he’s just a ‘Hand Wash Boy’ to me. Lions don’t care about sheep’s opinions. “
Take a look at the first hit that Herbert landed on Topuria:
However, the victory over Herbert did not convince Pimblett that Topuria was worthy to fight him.
“Everybody wanted to fight me. Everyone wanted to stick with me. No one knew who Ilia Topuria was, no one knew who ‘Hand Sanitizer Boy’ was until he tried to start a melee with me. No one knows who he is.” I am the draw. Everyone wants to fight me. “

Ilia Topuria’s caption about Paddy Pimblett got the UK crowd booed
Ilia Topuria continued his big knockout win over Jai Herbert by naming Paddy Pimblett in a brief post-match interview.
“England, love you guys. Here’s your boy, he’s king – Paddy Pimblett, win or lose, I want to fight you next and kick your ass like last time. F**k you!”
His last words before leaving the octagon left no doubt about who he wanted next.
“I want that blonde b**ch. Paddy b**ch there.”
The caption didn’t go well with the UFC London crowd, who were already unhappy that Topuria had knocked their boxer Herbert out of Wolverhampton, England.
