PAK vs WI, 2nd ODI Highlights: Mohammad Nawaz starred with the ball as Pakistan beat the West Indies 155 to score a goal that spanned 120 times to give them a 2-0 lead in a three-match series. Nawaz finished with an excellent 4/19 from his 10 appearances. The spinner knocked out Brandon King before sending Shamrah Brooks, Rovman Powell and Nicholas Pooran in quick succession sending the visitors reeling. Shadab Khan and Mohammad Wasim then struck twice to help the home team win. Prior to that, Shaheen Afridi knocked out Shai Hope in the Windies’ first 276 chase, but Kyle Mayers pressured the pitchers back with his 25th serve. Brandon King had a crush on Nawaz for a duck. Pakistan has reached a total of 275/8 of its 50 foreign countries thanks to half a century from Babar Azam and Imam-ul-Haq. Babar Azam failed with 77 out of 93 deliveries as he missed equaling Kumar Sangakkara’s world record for four consecutive ODI centuries. Imam-ul-Haq, meanwhile, scored a 72-ball. It was the sixth consecutive 50-plus score for both hitters in the ODI. The two had a partnership that lasted 120 times, but after they fell, the batting fell apart because they lost four clubs in a row. Shadab Khan tried to hold them, but he also failed with a score of 22. Khushdil Shah also failed with a similar score. Akeal Hosein picked three goals for the West Indies, while Alzarri Joseph and Anderson Phillip took two each. Pakistan won the throws and chose to hit the ball. (REFER)
