ParisA large fire broke out in a building on the boulevard des Capucines, near Place de L’Opera in central Paris on Saturday, sending plumes of smoke into the air.
“Firefighters are intervening, avoiding the area,” the Prefectural Police said in a statement on Twitter.
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
