Parks Canada updates reservation system
CALGARY –
Parks Canada says visitors will be able to start booking camping and other activities at their sites across the country in March.
Reservation dates, posted online, vary for each national park, historic site, and marine reserve.
Parks Canada said in a statement that bookings were several months later than in recent years because the booking system was outdated and needed some upgrades.
The agency says the system will look different from the previous one, but it will offer the same features and functionality.
However, it added that anyone who wants to save information about reservations must do so by February 26.
All users will be required to create a new user account on the upgraded system after March 3 and before they start booking any bookings later that month.
