PC Lemon & Ginger Sicilian Soda recalled due to glass risk
OTTAWA – Loblaw Companies Ltd. is recalling the PC Lemon & Ginger Sicilian Soda brand from the market due to the possible presence of glass.
Soda is sold nationwide in 200 ml containers with the best by September 24, 2023.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency said the recall was triggered by a consumer complaint.
However, it said there were no reports of any soda-related injuries.
The CFIA added that it is verifying that the industry is removing the recalled products from the market.
Anyone who has purchased soda is advised to throw it away or return it to the place of purchase.
