Pedestrians hit west London, Ont.

Exeter, Ont. –

According to police, several pedestrians were hit by a vehicle and taken to a hospital in west London, Ontario.

Constable Sandasha Bough told CTV News London at this time there was no information on the ages of those involved but the injuries ranged from mild to life-threatening.

“I don’t see pedestrians[s], I focused on the car in front because this crazy driver was so fast and really close to us,” Carlos Talero, who witnessed the crash, told CTV News London. “[The driver] very fast on Riverside…and [the driver] just don’t stop at the red light. This [driver] does not stop at all. “

Bough also said multiple vehicles and pedestrians were hit by a roadway along Riverside Drive near the entrance to an apartment building.

According to Brough, the crash, which occurred around 6:45 p.m., was not a police chase and is not considered a chain-link accident.

Wonderland Road is closed between Springbank Drive and Kingsway Avenue and Riverside Drive is closed between Braemar Crescent and Warren Road.

This is an evolving story.
