Penguins’ Evgeni Malkin suspended four games for cross-examination
The Pittsburgh Penguins Evgeni Malkin will be without Evgeni Malkin for the next four games after the center was suspended by the NHL Player Safety Bureau on Monday.
Malkin, 35, had a brief clash with Nashville Predators guard Mark Borowiecki during the Penguins’ 3-2 win on Sunday. At the end of the second half, the two became tangled which resulted in Malkin slashing Borowiecki’s stick from his hand and hitting him in the face with a bleeding check.
