Ranked 10th in character 3 The Mitsuru Social Link is the only way to start a romance with Mitsuru and unlock the Last Empress Character, Alilat–if you’re playing the male line. Like Fuuka and Yukari in Persona 3, the heroine only becomes very good friends with them.
This guide explains how to get started with the Mitsuru Social Link and the best options to choose for each of the main characters. We only include chats where dialogue choice is important. For any options we didn’t include, you can select any of the conversation options and get the same results.
How to start Mitsuru Social Link
Mitsuru is only available after November 21, and you need to have maximum learning (genius level) to start the relationship, no matter which protagonist you choose. You can enhance your learning by studying at night or in the school library, but maxing it out takes more than twice as long to reach maximum charm. If you don’t want to ignore your other Social links, you may have to save this for New Game+, where your stats will continue.
When you start Mitsuru’s Social Link, you have very little time to complete it. December 31 is the cut-off date to make the important choices that determine the outcome you receive. If you get to the real end, you’ll have extra time in January to complete Social Links.
You can find her during the day on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays at Gekkoukan High School near the office.
Easier social linking that you can start much earlier in role-playing involving an elderly couple at a bookstore. Head to the mall to start Hierophant Social Link.
How to Romance Mitsuru
If you are playing the male lead, you will automatically initiate a romantic relationship with Mitsuru by developing her Social Link. There is no specific time when you confessed your passion or decided to remain friends. The same goes for your relationship with Aigis, Fuuka, and Yukari. If you want to do their Social Links, you have no choice in the romance realm – but you also aren’t penalized for having multiple girlfriends.
The heroine cannot romance Mitsuru.

As with the other Persona 3 Social Links, be sure to bring a matching Arcana Persona for extra affinity for each correct answer. It was the Empress Arcana for Mitsuru. Most Empress Personas start at a higher level, so to save money it’s probably best to keep a character on hand rather than summoning from the synopsis when you need it. Leanan Sidhe and Yaksini are the ones you may encounter or may merge first.
