Peru quake: Magnitude 7.5 quake hits Amazonas . region
The epicenter of the earthquake was reported in the Amazonas region but was also felt in the capital, Lima, and other nearby towns.
It has a recorded depth of 112 km.
There have been no reports of major damage or a tsunami warning.
Earlier on Sunday, a 5.2 magnitude earthquake hit the country with its epicenter in El Callao, Lima.
