Pete Davidson says in “Walking In Memphis” SNL Parody witty
The King of Staten Island is about to return home.
While he may have caused quite a stir earlier this week holding hands with Kim Kardashian, whom he recently started dating, Pete Davidson let his singing skills take center stage in a fun song, transmitted from Staten Island to his beloved homeland on Saturday night live on November 20th.
Titled “Walking In Staten”, the song is a parody of Marc CohnThe 1991 hit “Walking in Memphis” and was filled with references to what Davidson lovingly referred to as “the land of Colin Jost. “That includes the fact that Staten Island has “like 80 bagels,” “wild turkeys at the hospital,” and “a landfill so big you can see it from space.” ”
The 28-year-old actor and comedian performed the song alongside Cohn himself, Method man of the The Wu-Tang . clan, and country artist Big wet, adding that the county is “where everyone’s dreams go down the drain” and “the reason I’m weird.”
