The Vegas Golden Knights finally won a game on Thursday, but it came at a cost.
The team won 5-3 over the Florida Panthers, ending a five-game losing streak that saw them eventually drop to ninth in the Western Conference on points percentage.
While victory was a huge relief, the Golden Knights received some bad news. Jack Eichel left the game in the second half after parrying a shot with his arm. On Friday, head coach Peter DeBoer said that Eichel’s injury is a “big concern” and he has doubts about Saturday’s Vegas game.
