Peter Navarro Says Mike Pence Is ‘Guilty of Treason’… Against Donald Trump
Former Trump White House official, Peter Navarro, who helped devise a plan to overturn the 2020 presidential election, announced Monday that former Vice President Mike Pence is “guilty of treason against at least President Trump and perhaps toward this country.”
Navarro, who was criminally charged for ignoring congressional subpoenas for testimony about his involvement on January 6, last month unsuccessful attempt to delay his experiment, assumed that the book tour would take up too much of his time. One frequent visitor, talkative on news networks, the Trump administration’s trade adviser still managed to do some promotional work for it on Monday on the friendly wave of SurplusNewsmax show by Eric Bolling.
Recalling the days before January 6, Navarro told Bolling that he remembers an aide telling him that Pence wanted to talk to him on the phone.
“I got on the line and it was the crickets. And what happened, I think, was that his Koch Brother director, Marc Short, blocked the call. [and] Navarro said.
“And the reason why I think Pence is guilty of treason against at least President Trump and perhaps this country,” he stated, “is that he acted on the basis of a flawed legal position due to his own general counsel outlined which he did not. share, Eric, with the president or the President’s legal counsel to the White House. ”
Bolling did not object to this serious charge, punishable by death, but simply asked his guest for clarification. “So lack of advocacy – lack of doing anything – what are you describing as Pence’s treacherous operation?” Bolling asked. “Not necessarily that he did, but he had the opportunity to do something but he didn’t?”
Navarro later reiterated that Pence had an “obligation” to notify the president and his legal team of what Navarro asserts was a “flawed” legal position: that Pence had no power to prevent the certification. Biden is the winner of the election. Navarro argued that Pence did – a claim that legal experts have denied.
Pence, Navarro complained, “put a knife” in Trump’s back by disobeying his plan.
