Peterborough man charged after firearm pointed during family dispute: police – Peterborough
A Peterborough man is going through a number of weapons-related prices following a household dispute on Monday.
Based on the Peterborough Police Service, officers on Tuesday had been knowledgeable of a home incident at a residence within the metropolis on Monday.
Police discovered that in a household dispute, a person allegedly uttered threats and pointed a firearm on the sufferer.

Officers attended the residence and a search uncovered a black duplicate firearm.
A 21-year-old man was arrested and charged with pointing a firearm, possession of a weapon for a harmful goal, assault with a weapon, uttering threats to trigger demise or bodily hurt, and failure to adjust to an enterprise to not possess a firearm, crossbow, prohibited weapon, restricted weapon, prohibited machine, ammunition, prohibited ammunition or explosive substance.
“Beneath the Felony Code of Canada, using a reproduction firearm within the fee of an offence meets the standards to name it a weapon,” police stated.
The accused was launched on an enterprise and is scheduled to look in courtroom in Peterborough on Nov. 3.
The person’s identify was not launched to guard the id of the sufferer within the home incident, police stated.
