Celtic dominated the Scottish PFA Awards as Ange Postecoglou, Kyogo Furuhashi, Jota and Caitlin Hayes took home the prize.

Postecoglou received the Manager of the Season award after Celtic won the Scottish Premiership for the second time in a row under his leadership with a 2-0 win over Hearts last weekend.

That win gave Celtic their 11th title in 12 seasons and they could claim a domestic treble if they beat Inverness in the Scottish Cup final on June 3 at Hampden Park.

Celtic transitions Kyogo was named Scottish Premier League Player of the Year having scored 24 goals in 32 league appearances so far this season, while the Rangers midfielder Malik Tillman – on loan from Bayern Munich – won Young Player of the Year award with 14 top-flight scoring appearances (10 goals, 4 assists).

Elsewhere, Ayr United’s Dipo Akinyemi won Player of the Year while the Airdrieonians’ Calum Gallagher won the top prize of League One and Albion Rovers’ Charlie Reilly won a League Two award. Ranger central defender Emma Watson was honored as Young Female Player of the Year.

legendary manager Sir Alex Ferguson received the Special Merit award in the week marking the 40th anniversary of Aberdeen winning the European Cup Winners’ Cup under the former Manchester United manager.
