Piece of concrete hit the windshield of a pickup truck on I-69

GENESEE COUNTY, Mich. (WNEM) – Police are investigating after a driver was struck by a piece of concrete on the windshield of a pickup truck while traveling west on I-69 near the Nichols Road overpass in Genesee County.

The incident happened around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, April 20. The driver, who was alone in the pickup truck, was uninjured, according to the Clayton Township Police Department.

At this point, it is unclear whether the 2- to 3-ounce piece of concrete fell off the bridge or was thrown from the overpass, police said.

Police said they have not received any other reports of objects being thrown off the overpass.
