In this blog post, I am sharing my review of the Platterful Large box. I am given this box to exchange my opinions, all opinions are my own.
If you’re like us, with two young children at home, time to yourself is rare. In the midst of non-stop talking, asking for snacks, making a mess… it feels like we’re nearing the end of the day and are so exhausted that we don’t have time to do or go anywhere. We are often hungry without wanting to do anything and tired without really wanting to do anything.
When we got a chance to try a box of Platterful, I was so excited because it seemed like this could help with all of that – something to do, something to eat, and time to be around. together.
The box arrived quickly and was packed with great care – glass items were carefully wrapped and refrigerated items were separated from the stationary items on the shelves.
One of my most FAVORITE things about Platterful is how they take the guesswork out of setting up your charcuterie table. I’ve always liked a well thought out charcuterie board but didn’t know how to set one up. Platterful not only includes a selection of unique items FOR your charcuterie board, they also include instructions on how to display, cut, and fold everything on your board.
I spent almost the whole evening with my phone on, watching the very helpful videos they provided on how to crop and display different items. Full disclosure: we’re not super adventurous and opted out of flavored olives and goat cheese. We had a lot to try and couldn’t even finish the extension as it is now!
I feel very proud of the whole process, even though my original cheese… was very crumbly. We took it as an opportunity to sneak a taste of what was to come and… oh. Our unique cheese indulgence is Tillamook smoked cheddar that we can only find in a large loaf at the Tillamook factory. Bellavitano merlot cheese is VERY GOOD. As I continued to put the board back together, I had to shove Justen’s hand away so I wouldn’t take more.
I love the different flavors of meat and cheese. Like I said, being a non-adventurous person, I can’t afford spicy sopresatta. Never in my life had “blueberry bourban pecan jam” upset me, but I walked away and was ready to eat the whole jar with a spoon.
We absolutely LOVE the Platterful box – not just the food, but the whole experience of trying new things, learning how to set up a charcuterie board (hello salami line and salami rose!) and Of course… real food!
Our MVP was melot cheese for Justen and blueberry bourban pecans for me.
Platterful offers a one-time box option (which would be a GREAT gift for newlyweds or for anyone on holiday) or a subscription option. They also have vegan and gluten-free kit options available, if you fancy those!
Try Platterful for a fun at-home date idea, a unique gift for someone you love this holiday season or… honestly, just something fun to try! We keep talking about that merlot, so I know we’ll be back soon to try it again – maybe this time we’ll even invite friends over to make it much more enjoyable. !
Thanks to Platterful for providing the Platterful Large box for this blog post. We are die-hard fans and tell our friends how much we love our box!
