Madhya Pradesh Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan greeted the cheetah as soon as the Indian Air Force helicopters landed in the state.

Prime Minister Modi thanked the Namibian government in his speech after liberating the cheetas. Prime Minister Modi said: “On this historic day, I would like to congratulate all the people of India and also thank the Namibian government. This would not have been possible without their help.”
