Pokemon Master's Journey

A lot has happened in the animated Pokemon world up to this point. A new miniseries called “Pokemon Evolutions” has started, the Poketoon series is getting new episodes (including a new episode about Gengar that was released the day before), the new Pokemon movie is coming next month, and Now, the next step in the main series has arrived. Because Netflix has finally released the first episode for Pokemon Master Journeys!

Just like the previous installment, Pokemon Journeys, the first part of Pokemon Master Journeys has 12 episodes that continue the adventures of Ash Ketchum and his current companion in Goh. The previous entry let them travel around the Pokemon world as we know it (Kanto to Galar) to learn more about Pokemon. Goh is trying to catch one of every Pokemon while Ash is trying to get into the Master Class of the World Coronation Series.

Many fans are excited about what this new entry will bring to the anime for a variety of reasons. Not a few of them are leaks and revelations from Japan that have revealed many interesting things. Such as the capture of Suicune, the return of fan-favorite characters like Gary Oak, Iris and Dawn, and the journey into Crown Tundra. As well as battling legendary Pokemon like Moltres and Darkrai!

Of course, 12 episodes won’t be too much for fans to enjoy at first. But like with Pokemon Journeys, Netflix is aiming to release new episodes about every 3 months so the Japanese series can continue while being localized here.

But if Pokemon Journeys is any indication, Master Journeys will also be something special. So head over to Netflix to start your own journey back to the Pokemon world!
