Pokémon Ultimate Journeys: The Series’ will reunite Ash’s old friends
Ash has been a busy body lately. In the past year, he has won awards Series crowned the world of Pokémon and will also Retired as the main character of the cartoon Pokémon. For those who grew up with him, it’s a bittersweet transition — but hopefully we’ll end up with some sort of reunion with his old friends: Misty and Brock.
Instead of a particularly good movie, Ash’s adventures will end with a season-ending series Pokémon’s Last Journey: Series episode. One referral program the return of her longtime friend Misty as she fishes, as well as the lovable legendary dragon Pokémon, Latias. We don’t see Brock in the trailer, but an earlier release confirmed that he’ll be back in the epilogue episodes as well.
Pokémon The anime series has regularly incorporated its main characters since the original anime depicts Ash’s first journey in the Kanto region. It begins with Tracey Sketchit, who replaces Brock for a brief stint of episodes that take place in the Orange Islands. Brock reunites with Ash and Misty to travel around the Johto region, but after it ends, Misty is replaced by sibling duo May and Max. Brock later leaves when Ash enters the Unova Region, but the original three get occasional cameos and nods to their first journeys together.
The episodes will air in Japan in January, but no English release date has been confirmed yet. In general, Pokémon episodes appear on Netflix in large numbers, so there tends to be a delay in the release of new episodes in the US.
We don’t have too many details about the next adventure after Ash is done. The classic duo Ash and Pikachu will be replaced by two new heroes: Riko and Roy. We don’t know much about both, but their designs were shown along with the starters Pokémon from Paldea.
