Polestar isn’t the only brand of EV Hertz aimed at hoarding. Tesla Model 3 sedans have begun to be more widely rented in the Hertz fleet, and it builds on an announcement last October. Hertz then called the Tesla plan “an initial order” and hinted that it could scale even further. Last month, Hertz also added the Model Y crossover to its electric vehicle fleet – although this time there was no major announcement of expected production.
