Police arrest 2nd Cambridge man in connection with gun-related incident in Preston
Waterloo Regional Police say they’ve made a second arrest and seized a number of weapons in reference to a current gun-related incident in Cambridge.
They initially reported that officers had been referred to as to King Avenue East and Church Avenue North on Oct. 5 for a disturbance involving a firearm.
Police say one particular person suffered minor accidents throughout the “focused” altercation.
They arrested a 39-year-old Cambridge man and charged him with assault.
On Monday, police say their investigation led them to go looking a house on King Avenue in Cambridge.
They are saying police seized three weapons, two imitation weapons and ammunition discovered throughout the search.
As well as, they arrested a 33-year-old Cambridge man who’s now going through a number of firearm-related offences.
