WALKER, Mich. – A Walker police officer comes across a child he saved from drowning years ago.
The Walker Police Department said Officer Tapanes helped rescue the boy from drowning on the south side of the city.
A few years later, Officer Tapanes reunited with the boy for the weekend. Police say the child is doing well, and Tapanes police added that he enjoyed chatting with the boy’s family.
