Police said the woman was outside watering the plants when she was chased and attacked by a suspect who broke into her southwest Houston home.

HOUSTON – The Houston Police Department is asking for the public’s help to track down three suspects wanted in a aggravated robbery and home invasion in southwest Houston.

According to HPD, around 8 p.m. on February 21, a woman was watering plants outside her apartment in the 8100 block of Bellaire when she was approached by three armed men.

The woman told police that when she tried to run into her apartment, the suspects chased her and one of them hit her in the head.

The woman continued running to her apartment and when she got inside, trying to hide in the bathroom, a suspect kicked open the door.

Another resident in the apartment was also hit by one of the suspects, knocking her out for a moment.

The suspects ransacked the apartment, took valuables, and then fled in a white Lexus SUV.

The suspects, whose faces were covered, were only described by victims as men wearing dark clothing. Police have released surveillance video showing the suspects inside the house and the vehicle used to flee the scene.
