Police search for missing former officer after neighbor opened fire at home
DETROIT (WXYZ) – Dramatic video shows a man opening fire on a home in the 15300 block of Ferguson on Thursday.
Detroit police said the suspect started shooting at the home at about 11:15 a.m. and then returned to the home to fire more shots at about 2:28 p.m.
According to police, the victim then exchanged guns with the suspect and the victim was shot in the finger. Police said the victim was taken to a local hospital and is in stable condition.

The suspect has since been arrested, but at a news conference Friday, police said that the suspect was in possession of a vehicle and weapon belonging to his neighbor, a former Detroit police officer who is now missing. Police said they were looking for retired officer Stefon Hodo, 41, and were concerned for his safety. Hodo served in the ministry from 2005-2013.
