Police: Teenager arrested for stabbing, stealing Carvana in Blue Mound
BLUE MOUND, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – Two teenagers have been arrested and two others are being sought after police said they crashed and stole two cars from Carvana in the Blue Mound on Saturday night.
At approximately 11:30 p.m. on June 18, Blue Mound police were dispatched to a car park in Carvana because of an ongoing car theft. When officers arrived, they found a 2021 Chevrolet 2500 that had rushed through the exit gate.
While the truck was driving through the gate and causing a deflection, a black 2020 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack was stolen from the shipment, officials said.
Ethan Gaither, eighteen, of Arlington, lives in the area and officials identified him as the driver of the truck that damaged the gate. He faces charges of mischief and participation in organized criminal activity.
The other three suspects were discovered when under surveillance entered the Challenger and fled the scene.
On Monday afternoon, 18-year-old Carlos Valdez was also arrested for participating in organized crime activity. Officials are now looking for Andy Sanchez of Grand Prairie and a fourth suspect named “Melo.”
