Police warn charges possible for bystanders who failed to report rape

Kevin McMunigal, a former federal prosecutor and legislation professor at Case Western Reserve College, advised the BBC that in most US states bystanders are underneath no authorized obligation to intervene or assist until they’ve a “particular responsibility” to take action, reminiscent of mother and father, lecturers, caretakers or cops.
