Pooh Shiesty Posting a message to fans from prison
Pooh Shiesty shared a message with his fans after he was sentenced to 5 years in prison.
Shiesty was sentenced to five years and three months for his role in an October 2020 shooting outside a Florida hotel.
“The BIGGEST thing.. I JUST THANK YOU TO ALL OF MY LOVERS, SUPPORTERS AND PEOPLE FOR KEEPING ME DOWN IN THIS HARD TIME,” he wrote. “I WANT TO GO HOME TODAY BUT THIS Illness WILL COME AT THIS TIME, I WILL COME BACK TODAY! BUT NEW MUSIC MEANTIME OUT THE NEXT WEEK, BLRRRD!!! ”
Bradford Cohen, Shiesty’s attorney, said he was satisfied with the verdict.
“Federal sentencing guidelines put him at a maximum of 107 months, with the government agreeing not to seek more than 97 months. [and] we argued that the guidelines had not been applied appropriately and asked for 63 months,” he told PEOPLE. “The judge agreed after 2 hours of hearing on the matter.”
“We are pleased that he has reviewed all the evidence and arguments and wish Lontrell a successful career in the future.”
Pooh Shiesty is 22 years old this year.
