Herschel Walker’s son is calling for CPAC’s Matt Schlapp to resign following allegations Schlapp groped a campaign staffer for the Republican candidate.
“Typical predator,” Christian Walker said in a video Saturday. “The prey of a poor little employee trying to get ahead in Republican politics, then being attacked by one of the top people in the industry. Comical. What family values? You need to cling to your wife and children.
Allegations of bombs, first Reported by The Daily Beast. forced Schlapp to “touch” and “touch” his groin without consent in the car.
An attorney for Schlapp called the claims an “attack” and said that Schlapp “denies any improper conduct”. It is unclear if Herschel Walker was aware of the allegations at the time.
But his son was adamant that action must be taken.
“Honestly, it’s disgusting that someone as powerful as Matt Schlapp is [preying] about campaign staff,” Walker said in a statement to The Daily Beast. “I feel bad for his wife and kids.”
Walker, once a conservative, changed his mind after the many scandals his father faced during his failed Georgia senatorial run.
In his video, Walker criticized Schlapp for his fake family values, the exact same breaking point that led him to quit his father’s campaign after it was reported that he had had several children who were not acknowledged and accused of abuse by former partners.
“Don’t let Matt Schlapp hit your schlong!!” Walker said in his statement.
