Premiere of ‘Black Adam’ and ‘Shazam! Fury of the Gods’

DC Films fans got to enjoy new footage from “Black Adam” and “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” at San Diego Comic-Con this weekend, and stars Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Zachary Levi’s are all present with their surprise superhero sleeves.

Levi, who plays Shazam, leads the first half of the board which will later see Johnson, dressed in a Black Adam costume, appear to be levitating while smoke and lightning surround him.

TRAILER ‘SHAZAM’ ABOUT FACE AND LUCY LIU

In the upcoming trailer for “Shazam!” In the sequel, Levi’s hero is having a good time. He compares himself to the most famous DC heroes, including Batman and Superman, who, admittedly, have enjoyed decades of fame and fame.

“I am not worthy of these powers,” he mused. “What am I even contributing?”

To lighten the mood, the trailer introduces Lucy Liu and Helen Mirren as the “Girls of Atlas” villains, who seem to want to regain the “power of all the gods” that Shazam and the others possess. His teenage friends “steal” to become adult superheroes.

We still don’t know how Shazam and the gang will defeat these evil women, but we can get a glimpse of Rachel Zegler (Maria in Steven Spielberg’s remake of “West Side Story”). The character seems to be an instrumental part of the growing franchise.

BROODS ‘BLACK ADAM’

The new “Black Adam” shot Johnson introduces is somehow even sadder than the teenage Shazam scene: “My powers are not a gift but a curse,” Johnson’s Black Adam grumble.

Then, after Pierce Brosnan, Noah Centineo, and winged Aldis Hodge appeared in the trailer, Black Adam was even more somber: “The world needs a hero. It’s got me instead.”

God, Adam; leave the cherished for Batman! Details about the plot of “Black Adam” are largely unknown, but we do know from the comics that Black Adam is either an anti-hero or a villain, depending on who you ask, anyone can tell. Harness the power of Shazam. Both superpowered men carry the same lightning bolt on their uniforms, though Adam is plagued by mud, earth, and inner turmoil.

“Black Adam” hits theaters on October 21, and exactly two months later, “Shazam! Fury of the Gods” hits theaters.
