Ashley Graham is no stranger to lingerie collections as well as capsule bags. So when we saw pictures from her latest effort with Knix on Vogue, our interest was immediately piqued. An Ashley Graham x Knix Collab? Knix, the period underwear brand we know and love, brought something new to their brand, with Ashley Graham heads up as their new Global Ambassador!
After giving birth to 4-month-old twins, Ashley Graham’s partnership excitedly introduces Knix into a new category of products. Bringing the same technology that Knix is famous for, this collaboration brings us “Summer seduction with the Strapless Bra, Jumpsuit and Underwear made with soft Powermesh fabric and stunning support.”
It’s correct. Knix, the company that serves us evidence leak Period panties are adding “Micro modal fabric is luxuriously soft, lightweight and naturally breathable.” We have bras, jumpsuits and underwear options that are modern and sleek – without compromising on functionality.
“People want to invest in something that makes them feel good about wearing it” Ashley Graham shared with Vogue. “After the last few years where we all spent a lot of time lounging, we’ve gotten used to comfort, but now that we’re back and back in the world, that’s not the point. only concern.”
So what can we expect from the Ashley Graham x Knix Collection?
Isn’t this collection all about the sweet and sexy push-up bras we’re used to, instead? We get a collection of pastels and neutral tones in luxe micropattern and mesh fabric.
Regarding the design process, Ashley Graham continued to share, “I’ve designed bras before, and I’ve had such a history with lingerie during my 20-year career… Because of those experiences, I don’t necessarily focus on bras vs. underwear. What I am interested in is color and shadow. I wanted this to be common, so that all the parts were nice so that no one would mind if their straps were exposed. We started by putting a beautiful inspiration board together, and the team at Knix just nailed it. ”
With this partnership, we have a line of lingerie through 4X, stylish and functional, drawing on Ashley Graham’s knowledge and experience in the lingerie industry.
Not only are we getting some new options that take Knix into a new and surprising space, what’s also interesting is the visuals. Knix and Ashley Graham intentionally withdrew from their customer base, which included women who had never been in front of the camera.
From the descriptions shared, we wish more women were chosen to represent this collection! Being able to see and learn from each person’s story in running this campaign is both inspiring and fun to learn from.
We’ve been huge fans of what Knix has been doing and want to see how Ashley Graham’s career continues to evolve in new ways. So this Ashley Graham x KNIX collaboration is both curious and intriguing- yes?
