BMW Australia announced the price and standard specifications of its update X6 range ‘coupe SUV’ before first arrival in third quarter of 2023.
Transfer price X6 variants have increased by $8000, with ranges now starting at $140,900 before on-road expenses give xDrive30d.
EQUAL previous report, all powertrains now feature a 48V mild-hybrid system that features an electric motor integrated with the transmission that can boost output up to 9kW and 200Nm. There’s also a new eight-speed Steptronic Sport automatic transmission.
The X6 range is now topped by a new M60i variant, replacing the M50i, priced from $178,900 before road costs.
There is no M Pure variant for this update, along the axis Later 1 series, Series 2 Gran Coupe, 3 Lines And X2 Local M Pure variants.
The X6 M60inew 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 engine manufacture 390kW power and 750Nm torque – same as the old V8.
The xDrive40i there’s a new generation 3.0 liter turbocharged inline six-cylinder petrol engine manufacture 280kW And 520Nm torque – an increase of 35kW and 70Nm on the old engine. The 48V mild hybrid system allows for an increase in torque up to 540Nm.
The xDrive30d‘S 3.0 liter turbo-diesel inline-six have been upgraded, including steel pistons (instead of aluminum) and a new common-rail direct-injection system. Total output is 219kW And 670Nmwith a time of 0-100km/h in 6.1 seconds.
All models have an adaptive suspension, with an optional adaptive air suspension. The M60i also features BMW’s Integrated Active Steering.
Inside, the X6 uses a BMW Curved Display that includes a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster and a 14.9-inch infotainment touchscreen in the same cluster.
The infotainment system runs on the latest BMW OS 8 featuring cloud-based navigation and BMW has reduced the number of switches in the cabin with many functions now controlled exclusively via the display touch or use voice prompts.
There’s also a new ambient light bar running across the passenger side of the dash.
The X6 is distinguished on the outside by new, slim headlights with arrow-shaped LED daytime running lights.
It will now be offered exclusively globally with the M Sport package, which is already standard locally.

The 2023 BMW X6 xDrive30d provided by a 3.0 liter inline 6-cylinder turbo-diesel engine with a production mild hybrid system 210kW power and 650Nm of torque.
This power is 15kW and 30Nm more than the model before the update. BMW claims the X6 xDrive30d can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.1 seconds.
The X6 xDrive40i provided by a 3.0-liter in-line, turbocharged, 6-cylinder gasoline engine with a production mild hybrid system 280kW And up to 540Nm.
This power is 30kW and 90Nm more than the model before the update. BMW claims the X6 xDrive40i can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.4 seconds.
The X6 M60i is powered by a 4.4 liter twin-turbo V8 engine with a cross-bank exhaust and a 48V mild hybrid system that generates 390kW And 750Nm of torque.
These outputs mirror the previous X6 M50i model. BMW claims the car can accelerate from 0-100 km / h in 4.3 seconds.
All BMW X6 models are mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with drive being routed through an all-wheel drive system.
Effective
BMW Australia does not yet have detailed fuel economy figures for the updated X6 range.

BMW X6 measured at 4935mm long, 2004mm wide and 1696mm tall, with a 2975mm The standard long.
Measures kick in at 580L with the 2nd row of seats upright, which can be extended 1530L with them folded.
Service and Warranty
The BMW X6 is now powered by a 5 year unlimited km . warranty prefer a wider range.
Service pricing for the 2024 model is yet to be confirmed, but on the pre-updated car, BMW Australia has offered Service Included prepaid packages that cover 80,000 km for the first 5 years – whichever come before.
Basic Service Includes Standard Service for $2750 on the X6 before the update.
