Price Range Rover Velar 2024, detailed update

2023 has only just begun but Range Rover has detailed an updated version of its 2024 model for its sleek Velar SUV.

There’s a tweaked exterior design, more paint options, a larger infotainment touchscreen, and a larger high-voltage battery in the plug-in hybrid (PHEV).

The Range Rover Velar 2024 is currently on sale, with customer deliveries expected to begin in the third quarter of this year.

These LED headlights are said to have three times as many LEDs as the matrix LED headlights, with each headlight featuring four pixel modules with 67 “precisely controlled” LEDs.

These Pixel LED headlights can use speed and steering data to illuminate dark corners, and cast shadows around four oncoming objects to prevent glare.

At the rear are new LED taillights with “super red” lighting and 3D shapes. They are complemented by a third full-width tailgate-mounted brake light.

There are 2 new exterior paint color options including metallic Varesine Blue and premium Zadar Metallic Gray.

On the inside is a new, larger 11.4-inch curved touchscreen powered by the latest Pivi Pro7 infotainment system.

Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto are now available, plus a new wireless charger in a new storage area in the center console.

This Pivi Pro7 infotainment system has eSIM architecture and is cloud-based. Its software can be updated over-the-air without going to a dealer.

The infotainment system also comes with Amazon Alexa and what3words integration, along with an app store that lets you download apps like Spotify and Deezer.

The Velar now comes with active road noise cancellation that is said to reduce overall interior noise levels to a minimum of 4dB.

There’s a new leather-free upholstery option, which combines wool from Danish textile specialists Kvadrat with Ultrafabrics polyurethane fabric linings.

Finally, four new skin colors were introduced. These include Cloud, Caraway, Raven Blue, and Deep Garnet.

These are complemented by new Moonlight Chrome on the steering wheel, wraparound center console and air vents.
