Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas welcomed their first child.
The couple, who have been married for three years, shared the news of their family on Instagram on Friday.
“We are delighted to confirm that we have welcomed a baby through a surrogate. We respectfully request privacy during this special time as we focus on our family.” , they write.
They do not share the baby’s name or gender.
Chopra, 39, and Jonas, 29, got married in 2018 in India. It was a lavish affair that lasted three days.
The couple first met in 2017 and made their relationship public in 2018. They got engaged after only 4 months of dating.
In an interview earlier this month with Vanity Fair, Chopra talked about the couple having children in the future but did not mention that they were expecting.
“They are a big part of our desire for the future,” she said. “By the grace of God when it happens, it will happen.”
