Prosecutors use YNW Melly’s tattoo as evidence in murder trial!!
Mohammed Gangat, CEO of Lawyers for Workers, has revealed that prosecutors will be allowed to use YNW Melly’s tattoos as evidence to help them “prove that one of the reasons behind after this murder is gang related.”
According to Gangat, “under Florida law, that’s an enhancement. It makes you subject to, I think, the death penalty if you’re convicted of gang-related murder.”
The rapper was charged with two counts of first-degree murder in February 2019 for allegedly shooting YNW Sakchaser and YNW Juvy.
Prosecutors are seeking the death penalty when they claim “a felony that is inherently committed for profit, a felony that is particularly cruel, brutal or cruel, a felony that is a murder and is committed done in a cold, calculated, and premeditated manner without any pretense of moral or legal justification.”
The attorney added, “Next week, the judge will hear a motion seeking to exclude the prosecution’s expert witness, who says the fatal shots came from the backseat.”
