Protest at Calgary mobile vaccine clinic has nurses on edge – Calgary


Some Calgary nurses say they have been scared when protesters disrupted a cell vaccination clinic.

Calgary police needed to be referred to as to the clinic at Mount Royal College over the midday hour Thursday.

Nurse Afusat Kasumu stated it began when a lady got here into the clinic saying she wished the shot for daughter and asking for the substances.

When Kasumu confirmed her a vaccine vial, the lady, who turned out to be a protester, started shouting on the medical crew.

“She was like, ‘Why are you doing this, disgrace on you.’ And I’m like, ‘You may simply exit, that is our personal territory. If you wish to do something then go away.’”

Fellow nurse Khenj Perez stated she fearful about what would occur.

Officers and campus safety arrived on the scene and broke up the protest.
