Quebec municipal election results: Longueuil – Montreal
Catherine Fournier has received Longueuil’s mayoral race in Quebec’s 2021 municipal election.
At 29-years-old, she is the youngest mayor within the metropolis’s historical past.
Fournier beforehand represented Marie-Victorin at Quebec’s Nationwide Meeting.

Fournier received with 60.66 per cent of the vote, surpassing Josée Latendresse who completed with 18.34 per cent. The opposite candidates, Jean-Marc Léveillé and Jacques Létourneau, acquired underneath 15 per cent of the vote respectively.
For this election, 33.08 per cent of Longueuil residents voted.
The earlier mayor, Sylvie Father or mother, didn’t run for re-election.
