Quebec has seen another increase in COVID-19 infections with 902 new cases reported on Thursday and another five deaths.
Since the health crisis began, Quebec has recorded 442,246 infections.
Hospitalizations fell by one in the past day, with 210 patients being treated for complications related to the virus. Among them, 45 are in the ICU.

Quebec’s immunization efforts continue with more than 13.5 million doses of vaccine administered, including 16,218 in the past 24 hours.
Quebec began immunizing children between the ages of 5 and 11 on Wednesday.
As of Tuesday, when registration began on the Clic-Santé portal, more than 143,000 appointments were booked, according to a tweet by Health Minister Christian Dubé posted on Wednesday evening.
The province’s goal is to have about 650,000 eligible children in that age group get a dose of the pediatric vaccine by Christmas.

The latest data provided by Quebec’s public health institute shows that 79.8% of the population has received at least one dose of the drug.
The death toll from the virus in Quebec is now 11,571.
